The practical instruction of aircraft specialization, which is to be launched within the basic program in Vehicle Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the UD, is going to be assisted in the future by the cooperation between our institution and AEROPLEX of Central Europe Ltd.

Teams from the University of Debrecen took the first six prizes at the joint Russian-Hungarian online competition hosted by Rosatom Central Europe, Paks Nuclear Power Plant of MVM Group and Paks II. Zrt. The awards ceremony of Hackatom was held on Friday in the Aula venue of the UD.

Apart from the Hungarian students, a number of international students of Faculty of Engineering at the UD (DE MK) also participated in the competition Engineering Science Section of National Scientific Student Circle Conference (OTDK).

22 teams from UD’s Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science and Technology are going to participate in the online competition announced by the global atomic energy corporation Rosatom. Representatives of the most prestigious Russian technical universities will also contribute to the event.

The NeurotechEU project is looking for partners in their quest to solve problems of neurosciences. Researchers and companies interested in developing new industrial solutions and technologies can contact the project’s personnel by completing a questionnaire.

A number of significant investments and developments financed through support from the Hungarian state are to be launched in 2021 at Faculty of Engineering of the UD. These improvements include an entire new wing of a building to be constructed.

Students can still go abroad to pursue their studies there even despite the pandemic situation, and they can also continue to access and gain professional experience through their mobility projects. The Erasmus+ grants for the 2021-2022 academic year have been announced.
