Students of the University of Debrecen (DE) achieved excellent results at the competitions of the 36th National Student Circle Conference (OTDK) held April 3-27. Of the 444 submissions 187 were awarded with a prize or a special award.

The University of Debrecen and the company Continental have signed an agreement on joint educational, scientific and research development activities in the field of artificial intelligence-based software development projects and related technologies. The contract was drafted and signed soon after the multinational company had announced the establishment of a research and development center in Debrecen.

Based on the agreement signed on Thursday, the German company that manufactures and develops drive chains will be involved in the new electrical engineering master’s course of the Faculty of Engineering and in the mechatronics engineering programme.
